Billy Bread (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a small home-based cottage bakery in Newbury Park, California. We respect your privacy and only collect the information we need to bake your order and get it to you. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it.
Information we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, phone number, and pickup or delivery information when you place an order or sign up for a class.
- Payment information: card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly.
- Messages: any information you share when you email, text, or message us about an order.
- Website data: basic, anonymous analytics and cookies that help the website work and help us understand which pages are useful.
How we use your information
- To prepare, confirm, and fulfill your orders and class bookings.
- To contact you about your order — including texting you when your order is ready for pickup.
- To respond to your questions.
- To improve our products, website, and service.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We only share what’s necessary with the services that help us run the bakery — for example, Stripe (payments) and our website host. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide their service to us.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to our text message program, we collect your mobile phone number and your consent to receive recurring text messages. No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS opt-in and consent — will ever be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your SMS opt-in data or consent with anyone. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

Your choices
You can ask us to view, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of any non-essential messages at any time. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to deletion. To make a request, just contact us.
